Ok, so today this post is a little biased…after 20 years of employment at Motorola my husband was let go to join the millions of Americans that are currently without a job.  I can't say that it took us by surprise but we were definitely taken back by the news.   

I have to admit that in the past 2 months since his separation from Motorola, every day our emotions have been not less than a wrecking roller coaster ride.  Some days we enjoy the “high” of having the opportunity to explore the new horizon presented before us, to immediately experience the awful low of a grim and uncertain future.

   

A few weeks ago he decided to end his pity party, roll up his sleeves and find a positive way to begin to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel.   Thus, Mark decided to pursue a passion of his and start helping people with their computer troubles.  He has already helped 4 people and it's been very rewarding!  I have already started to see a brighter expression on his face, perhaps the future in not so uncertain after all?!
